Antoine Griezmann is stalling over his planned £89million move to Manchester United as he wants Champions League football.
Boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to land Atletico Madrid’s superstar striker.
The Frenchman is concerned United could miss out on Europe’s top competition for the second season running.
And the uncertainty has led Griezmann to question his proposed transfer, while his representatives have contacted the Old Trafford top brass to raise the issue.
Mourinho’s men are sixth in the Prem, four points off the last Champions League place.
Arsenal To Land German Star
Arsenal could be set for a summer swoop for Schalke star Leon Goretzka.
The 22-year-old is yet to agree a new deal with the German side, with his current contract set to expire at the end of next season.
But rather than face the prospect of losing one of their top talents for nothing, the Bundesliga club may now be forced to sell one of their prize assets.
But it is believed Goretzka could cost any potential suitors around £21million, according to German newspaper Bild.
