Alexis Sanchez's time at Arsenal seems to be coming to a quick end and it looks like week after week, match after match, display after display, it seems to be a matter of where-next than how-long-would-he-be-in-Emirates' for.
The Chilean was caught on the bench in the game against Bayern Munich having a laugh beside goalkeeper Petr Cech as Arsenal conceded three more goals after his departure to the bench.
With a wave of hand at his substitution being read as goodbye wave, we decided to look at the five possible teams Sanchez could move to this summer.
Juventus- Serie A, Italy
First on the list of possible destinations would be Juventus as the Italian giants have been the longest club on the rumor mill associated with Alexis Sanchez.
Juventus would be looking to add the former Udinese star to their team as the club is short on natural wingers with Juan Cuadrado and Marko Pjaca the only ones available to their Manager.
The Old Lady would have to break bank to welcome Sanchez as the Chile International is on a € 6-million-a-year deal at Arsenal is looking for a € 10 million a year in his next move. The Italian giants wouldn’t be able to offer as much as Gonzalo Higuain who earns slightly more than Sanchez is on € 7.5 million-a-year deal.
PSG- Ligue 1, France.
Another possible destination for Sanchez would be Paris Saint Germain. The French club have been rumored to have tabled a bid for the summer as early back as January and have been speaking to Sanchez's agent in a bid to stall the Chilean signing any contract.
At the moment, if Club Director Patrick Kluivert pushes through a player at the club would have to see the exit or suffer less playing time as Sanchez would naturally be guaranteed starting position. Reports suggest it could be Di Maria who would step aside after being unhappy that the club tried to force him out to China in the January transfer window.
Man Utd- EPL, England.
An unlikely destination for Sanchez as hierarchy at Arsenal are not willing to allow a repeat of a situation that saw Robin van Persie leave the Emirates to Old Trafford.
Man Utd are in the look out for a player to the lead the attack with the departure of Wayne Rooney expected in the summer and the possible less reliance on Zlatan Ibrahimovic next season.
It would be a hard ask for Man Utd to bag the Chilean if they miss out on the Champions League but with the Red Devils having the ability to pay with more high earning offloads expected in the summer Old Trafford cannot be completely ruled out.
Chelsea- EPL, England.
A possible likely destination if the Chilean insists on staying in the England. The Blues currently top the table and look set to win the league at the end of this season and with the offer of Champions League football have better odds than Man Utd in landing the player.
Either as a Diego Costa replacement or an upgrade on Pedro and Willain, Chelsea would definitely be a better side with the player in the team.
Already known for his energetic and defensive attributes, the player ticks all the boxes for Antonio Conte if the Italian makes a move for him.
Bayern Munich- Bundesliga, Germany.
Certainly not the hardest of places to go and the Chilean winger would fit right in although he would know he would be facing the toughest of competitions and not be alpha male as he frequently exhibits at Arsenal.
Of all the clubs mentioned, the Bavarian giants would give him the best possible chance to express himself and hit that great spot that seems to keep eluding him both at Barcelona and certainly at Arsenal.
