The Super Eagles of Nigeria are unmoved at 41 in the new FIFA Ranking released on Thursday, March 9. They made the move from 50 to 41 last month despite missing out from the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
In the March ranking, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are also unmoved in Africa, remaining the seventh best country in the continent. Reigning African champions, Cameroon move up one place from 33 to 32 while AFCON losing finalist Egypt are the number one country in the continent.
Egypt, 20th in world football are ahead of Senegal (28), Cameroon (32), Burkina Faso (36), Tunisia (37) Congo DR (38), Nigeria (41), Ghana (43) Cote d'Ivoire (47) and Morocco (49)
Argentina are still the number one country in world football ahead of Brazil and world champions Germany.
In fourth are Chile while Belgium are fifth. France, Colombia, Portugal, Uruguay and Spain complete the top 10.
