Chubby Gonzalo Higuain may have been overdoing the celebrations since his big money move to Juventus.
The Argentina striker, signed from Napoli for £75million, did not look in the best of shape as he only played the second half of his side’s 3-2 win over West Ham in the official unveiling of their new London Stadium.
Pre-season conditioning and fitness have been a hot topic of conversation this summer and, given Higuain has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League, it would be interesting to hear what the likes of Pep Guardiola and Arsene Wenger made of the striker's much-discussed physical condition.
Fans took to Twitter to question the £75-man's shape.

Is it just me or does Higuaín look vastly out of shape? Needs to shed a few pounds or two. pic.twitter.com/Kci53vPOKQ— Liam Canning (@OffsideLiam) August 7, 2016
Is it me, or does Higuain look like he's added some weight? pic.twitter.com/KzWWw5at1m— Deji Kofi Faremi (@deejayfaremi) August 7, 2016

Manchester City defender Gael Clichy revealed Guardiola has kept any player not in top condition away from the rest of the squad until they have improved, while he is also closely monitoring their diets as he bids to replicate his success at Barcelona following his move to Manchester.
Guardiola confirmed Samir Nasri was one such player who had work to do regarding his fitness ahead of the new season.
While the Premier League season begins next weekend, Higuain and Juventus have an extra week to reach their peak, given their Serie A opener with Fiorentina is not until August 20.
