Shanghai Shenhua’s Nigerian forward Obafemi Martins scored his fourth goal of the Chinese Super League season in Thursday’s 2-1 loss away to relegation battlers Shijiazhuang Ever Bright.
Martins’ 18th minute lead for Shanghai Shenhua was cancelled out in the second half with goals from Jianqing Mao in the 55th minute and Yong-Hyung Cho in the 76th minute.

The Nigerian international is expected to lead the line for Gregorio Manzano’s side in the absence of Demba Ba who scored 14 goals for the club before his unfortunate leg break.
Shanghai Shenhua who dropped to fifth place on the log will face Shandong Luneng away in their next game on Sunday.
