Nolito has completed his £13.8million move to Manchester City after agreeing a four-year deal.
The versatile frontman joins the club from Celta Vigo where he spent three seasons, scoring 39 goals in 103 appearances.
The 29-year-old started all three of Spain’s Euro 2016 group matches, scoring against Turkey and he also started the round of 16 defeat against Italy.
Nolito played for Pep Guardiola at Barcelona, though spent much of his time with the Catalans’ B side from 2008 to 2011. Nolito will wear the No.9 shirt at the Etihad this season.
Sergio Aguero is expected to remain their first-choice striker, meaning Nolito's rivals include, among others, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Jesus Navas and Samir Nasri.
Nolito joins Ilkay Gundogan at City after the Germany midfielder became Guardiola's first signing last month.
