Werder Bremen striker Anthony Ujah changes to China. The 25-year-old Nigerian striker reached an agreement with the first division club Liaoning FC and only needs to pass the medicals to finalise the move. This was confirmed by the club
The transfer fee is expected to reach €13 million. The Nigerian striker joined Bremen from FC Koln in the summer of 2015 for a fee in the region of €4.5m. He scored 14 goals in 35 games last season to help the German side remain in the Bundesliga first division.
Ujah’s desire to move to China is the real reason behind the move after it was reported that Werder Bremen rejected an initial offer from Liaoning FC in December. He will earn about €6m annually.
