Riyad Mahrez has admitted it’s ‘possible’ he may leave Leicester City this summer amid speculation Arsenal are interested in the attacking midfielder.
The Algeria international scored 17 goals in 37 appearances for the Foxes as they stormed to the Premier League title last season and was named PFA Player of the Year. Reports say the Gunners are looking to sign Mahrez and have opened talks to sign the 25-year-old and he has now responded to these rumours.
‘It is flattering to hear, as I said nothing is agreed, nothing is done,’ Mahrez said. ‘We will see… For the moment I have not made a decision. We will see. ‘It is possible that I stay, it is possible that I leave. We will see.’
It’s understood Arsenal have also triggered Jamie Vardy’s release clause at the King Power Stadium as they look to raid the side who pipped them to the title.
The England forward is expected to announce his decision after Euro 2016
