Reports from Italy suggest that incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte may bring one of his former players at Juventus, Kwando Asamoah to London to join or perhaps replace the likes of Mikel Obi at Stanford Bridge.
Asamoah, 27 has been with the Turin giants since 2012 when he made a switch from Udinese and has made over 100 appearances for the Italian champions over the last four seasons.
With series of injuries, Asamoah could only manage just 13 appearances last season but that nonetheless, it is understood that the Ghana international is keen to try out elsewhere in this summer’s transfer window.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve are favourably disposed to selling the left-sided player to Chelsea, who will be managed by their former Coach; in person of Conte next season.
Asamoah has won four Serie A titles during his time in Turin and would be keen to replicate the heroics of his compatriot Michael Essien if the Chelsea move works out.
