Borussia Dortmund winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan wants to leave the German side and join Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
The Armenian international's agent Mino Raiola has admitted his player wants to head to the Premier League, despite Dortmund previously saying they would block any move.
Mkhitaryan, 27, impressed for Dortmund last season, helping them to second place in the Bundesliga and the German Cup final, scoring 23 goals and adding 32 assists along the way.
'He wants to go to Manchester United and we are still trying to resolve the situation,' Raiola said.
'We are still talking to Dortmund. We are trying to be reasonable. They are aware that Micki wants to leave now.'
New Manchester United boss Mourinho - who succeeded Louis van Gaal - is set to stamp his mark on the Old Trafford squad this summer and has already added young defender Eric Bailly to his squad after signing the Ivorian from Spanish side Villarreal.
Should Mkhitaryan end up joining Bailly in the red half of Manchester he would add significant attacking quality to the United squad.
