CSKA Moscow and Super Eagles forward, Aaron Samuel is officially out of the looming double-header ahead of the Nigeria national football team against Mali and Luxembourg.
Samuel damaged knee ligaments during the recent Russia Cup final and has been effectively ruled out of the Eagles test games.
The Super Eagles are scheduled to face Mali on May 27 in Rouen, France, before they battle Luxembourg on June 1 as they begin their preparations for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in earnest.
Samuel recall only made the numbers when the Eagles were in action last time out in the AFCON qualifying games against Egypt.
The former China-based tall striker will hope he can get over his repeated bouts of injury that is denying him playing time for the Super Eagles and by extension his club where it is understood he wants to make his loan move to CSKA Moscow permanent.
