Enugu Rangers were completely outplayed in Port Harcourt and were ‘lucky’ to only be beaten 3-1 by Rivers United in their NPFL Match Day 14 clash on Sunday.
Rivers United got their first goal from the penalty spot as Bernard Ovoke converted the kick awarded after Chigozie Ihunda was brought down in the Rangers box.
The bad day soon turned worse as Ovoke added another goal for Rivers United to end the first half firmly in front 3-0.
Rivers United add myriad of scoring chances in the second half but they failed to add to the tally and eventhough Rangers pulled one goal back through Olalekan Gabriel, it was far from enough to deny Rivers United all three points in the NPFL week 14 tie.
