Liverpool 4-0 Everton
Jurgen Klopp tasted victory in his first Merseyside derby as Liverpool thrashed 10-man Everton 4-0 at Anfield to heap further pressure on Roberto Martinez.
Defender Ramiro Funes Mori also added to the Spaniard’s woes ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United with this fixture’s 21st red card in the last 47 Premier League encounters.

That was compounded by fellow centre-back John Stones limping off injured after the third goal went in. That was Daniel Sturridge’s 50th goal for the club and followed two headers from Divock Origi and Mamadou Sakho just before half-time.
Philippe Coutinho’s 76th-minute strike sent visiting fans heading for the exits and every ‘Ole’ which rang around Anfield towards the end was a dagger to the heart of Martinez and those who remained in the away end.
West Ham 3-1 Watford
England hopefuls Andy Carroll and Mark Noble were among the goals as West Ham beat Watford 3-1 at Upton Park.
Carroll hit in his sixth goal in six games and Noble tucked away two penalties to move the Hammers to within four points of fourth-placed Arsenal.
The duo are likely to be overlooked for England’s Euro 2016 squad this summer, but they could still be embarking on a European adventure with West Ham next season instead.
They could hardly have asked for more obliging opposition, though, with Watford safe from relegation and gearing up for Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final.
Manchester United 2-0 Crystal Palace
Matteo Darmian had a hand in both goals as a dominant Manchester United outfit beat Crystal Palace 2-0 at Old Trafford.
The pair could do battle once again on May 21 if they navigate their way through this weekend’s FA Cup semi-finals – matches that offer both teams the chance to end frustrating seasons with a shot at silverware.
Palace’s seven changes showed how much of Alan Pardew’s focus was on their semi-final against Watford and led to an unsurprising outcome at Old Trafford, where United triumphed 2-0 as Darmian created one and scored the other.
