Egypt national team coach Hector Cuper has announced his squad to meet Nigeria in their crucial 2017 CAF Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier.
Although Cuper initially announced a squad of five foreign-based players, he has since revealed his local-based players for the Super Eagles clash.
The Argentine has invited nine players from both Al Ahly and Zamalek for the two-legged contest in an aim to reach Gabon next year.
The first leg will take place on Friday the 25th of March in Nigeria, while the return leg will see Alexandria hosting four days later on Tuesday the 29th of March.
Egypt now lead the standings with six points after two rounds played with a seven goal difference. Samson Siasia's Nigeria is second with four points and a two goal difference.
The group winners will qualify for the African Cup of nations in 2017, whilst the two best ranked runner-ups in all groups, will also qualify for the competition.
Meanwhile, a number of players in the squad are mostly coming from the two Egyptian giants, Ahly and Zamalek, with the entire defence dominated by Cairo-based players.
