Fans numbering over 10,000 have thronged the Ahmadu Bello Stadium for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt, with the game still over two hours away.
The match starts at 5pm in the northern city of Kaduna at the 25,000 capacity stadium and with over two hours to the first whistle, fans have converged at the Stadium for the crucial match with the aim of cheering the Super Eagles to victory.
Gates to the stadium have now been thrown open by the Kaduna State government, and fans will only need to be at the stadium to see the game, without any extra cost.
Tickets had initially been fixed for 300 Naira for the open stand of the stadium, while the covered seats were to go for 1,000 Naira but with the intervention of the Kaduna State government, the fans will now watch the game for free.
Meanwhile, new Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel had already bought about 50 tickets for fans who were at their team hotel earlier in the day.
