Arsenal striker Alex Iwobi has emerged as the first foreign-based player to arrive the Super Eagles camp ahead of the crucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
Iwobi who was in action for his London club on Saturday in the game against Everton has been enjoying a good run of form of late; scoring against the Toffess and also playing very well in the Champions League clash against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.Arrived Safely In Abuja✌🏽️🇳🇬— Alexander Iwobi (@alexiwobi) March 20, 2016
Iwobi is one of the 20 foreign-based players invited by interim Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia for the games against Egypt.
As announced by the Nigeria Football Federation, two other players based in Turkey are also expected to breeze into the Super Eagles camp later tonight.
