Alex Iwobi may have shaken off his food poisoning setback as he arrived in Kaduna with the rest of the Super Eagle squad on Tuesday.
There were fears that Iwobi’s highly competitive debut for the Eagles may have been threatened with the food poisoning issue but the Arsenal star looks good to be in training this evening after missing Tuesday morning’s session.
Iwobi has so far played two friendlies for Nigeria, but he has also starred for England in the Youth cadre, he is expected to make his first competitive appearance for the country of his birth in an African Nations Cup qualifier against Egypt on Friday but that remains to be seen now.
Iwobi has been in top form lately; just over the weekend he scored on his first Premier League start for the Gunners on Saturday, in a 2-0 victory at Everton.
He also did very well in the Champions League clash against Barcelona at the Camp Nou.
Wolexis.com can confirm that the Eagles will be lodged at the Africa Continental Hotel
