Super Eagles midfielder Michael Babatunde has fallen out with Raja Casablanca of Morocco, who have sensationally sized his international passport, after the player threatened to terminate his contract over unpaid wages.
This is not the first time he's having such a dispute as that was the reason he left his Ukrainian club Dnipro. (You can read that story HERE)
The 25 year old penned a three-and-a-half-year deal with Raja Casablanca in the January transfer window, but things have now gone awry so soon after between the player and club.
Reports indicate that the Brazil 2014 World Cup revelation would have turned to a beggar in the North African country if not for the presence of Nigerian compatriot, Osaguona Ighodaro at the club.
“Babatunde has been angry that he has not been paid any fee or salary since he joined Raja, they have seized his passport so he can’t leave the country.
“His Moroccan agent is trying to convince him to stay. Osaguona played together with him in the Super Eagles; he has been supporting him financially,” a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com
