According to NFF marketing committee member and Super Sport presenter Colin Udoh, the managemant of the Nigerian professional football league and Globacom have ended their sponsorship partnership. The partnership which has spanned over 7 years ended after the conclusion of the Super 4 which was won by Akwa United. The league will replace the telecommunication network with a 6 tier elite partnership model.
