Sitting five points behind the league leaders, a defeat would be disastrous for Arsene Wenger’s men while a draw would mean losing a great opportunity to close the gap and capitalise on Manchester City and Spurs playing each other.
So ahead of the game, let’s take a look at some key battles.
Petr Cech v Jamie Vardy
As we all know, Vardy has been having an unbelievable season, but so has Petr Cech.
Despite playing behind a wobbly Arsenal defence, the former Chelsea man has already won his side a number of points this season.
Jamie Vardy with 18 goals lead the goalscorers chart
Cech will need to be at his best to not only deny Vardy but stop him getting onto a number of chances.
Three key battles that will decide Arsenal's clash with Leicester
Olivier Giroud v Robert Huth
Robert Huth is a defender with experience and he knows very well how to handle a big, bruising centre-forward.
Giroud has scored 12 goals so far this season
When Giroud gets frustrated and starts moaning about contact he is significantly less effective. For Arsenal to win, he needs to overcome the challenge of a physical defender and his poor form in front of goal.
Nacho Monreal v Riyad Mahrez
For me, Mahrez is the jewel in Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester crown.
Monreal will need to be in top gear to stop Mahrez
Denying service to Vardy will be key but Monreal mustn’t lose sight of the threat that Mahrez himself carries in front of goal – he has more goals this season in the league than any Arsenal player and with nine assists to his name as well.
Monreal will not have an easy game, and nor will Hector Bellerin should Mahrez switch flanks
