Manchester City Ivorian forward Wilfred Bony will not be leaving Manchester City in the January transfer window, his agent has revealed.
Bony, who moved to the Etihad last January, has found regular first-team football hard to come by this season and has spent the majority of the campaign playing second fiddle to Sergio Aguero.
The Ivorian, 27, expressed his frustration at his lack of opportunities a few days after City's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal last December and hinted that he could leave Manuel Pellegrini's side
However, his representative, Francis Kacou, has insisted that a winter exit is not on the cards.
Wilfried Bony will stay at Manchester City,Kacou said. Everything else is just rumours. A departure this winter was never on the cards. Manchester City have quite simply no intention of selling. He has often been injured since he arrived at the club, but he has still scored eight goals this season. We will see what happens next. This summer, the player and I, will make our position clear.
