Emmanuel Adebayor has moved a step closer towards relaunching his Premier League career in January...
Adebayor is believed to have joined his representatives last week in holding talks with officials from Chelsea, West Ham and Watford.
The Togo striker, 31, sounded out the trio as he believes they fit the bill in his search for a London-based club. Adebayor’s summer saga of failed moves, along with doubts over his commitment, have done little to help his cause.
But he maintains he is in good shape fitness wise and still has the appetite to make a top-flight return.
Tottenham axed him in September but are still paying his £100,000-a-week wages until his contract expires next summer.
The ex-Arsenal frontman won’t be able to command close to the same figure but he still remains an attractive short-term option
