Nigeria international striker, Odion Ighalo says he will be giving his all on Saturday when Watford plays host to Manchester United in the lunch-time kickoff in the Barclays English Premier League.
Ighalo has been in stunning form in the Premier League this season and has already scored seven goals this term.
He says it is an honour to play against Manchester United on Saturday but insists he will not be making special plans to put the Red Devils to the sword.
“Manchester United is a great club and it is an honour to play against them but I will be doing all I can to help my club win,” Ighalo told supersport.com.
He added that a serious approach to training and matches have been largely responsible for his rather meteoric rise in the English top-flight this season.
“I don’t do anything special before matches. I just train hard everyday and give my all during matches.
“I give 100 per cent whenever I take to the pitch and try to take every opportunity that comes my way.
“Staying calm during matches is important and there is really nothing special I do,” he said.
The 26-year-old forward currently sits in second place in the scorers' chart in the Premier League thanks to his seven goals and two assists this term.
He however stated that he is more interested in helping Watford stave off relegation rather accomplish personal milestones this season.
