Nigeria striker Shola Ameobi, who is training with Wolverhampton Wanderers with the hope of getting a deal, featured for the team's U21 squad as they lost 3-2 to Swansea.
The former Newcastle United striker, who is a free agent after he was released by Crystal Palace at the end of last season, played 68 minutes in the game Monday night.
Wolves Coach Kenny Jackett earlier said his performance in the game against Swansea will give him clue of what he has to offer the team.
"We’ll see how he does in that particular game (at Swansea), whether we then extend that and see whether he can bring some experience to our frontline," Jackett said.
Of the 6ft 3in striker's qualities, the Wolves boss added: "Experience, power, size, whether he can offset some of the forwards we’ve got, and give us some balance, ability to hold the ball up, certainly some presence in the 18-year-old box."
