Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has split from his wife after the couple’s marriage collapsed, it has been claimed.
According to British media, the Arsenal manager and Annie have ‘temporarily’ split after months of speculation about the state of their marriage and will soon be divorced officially, it has been claimed.
Wenger, 65, has been married to long-term partner Annie since 2010 but the couple are now said to be separated. The pair are said to have agreed a financial package and divided up their assets.
The estranged couple who have an 18-year-old daughter together, have been the subject of months of speculation and, though they are not officially divorced, The Sun claims they have obtained documents that show the Wengers filed seperation papers to a family court in Paris.
He has previously admitted that his high pressure job with the London club had put pressure on his relationship.
Wenger received an OBE with his wife by his side at the Foreign and Commonwealth office from Jack Straw in 2003 but they have not been seen with each other publicly since October 2013.
