Nigeria striker Brown Ideye could well return to France as he is surplus to requirements at EPL side West Brom
Last season, the 26-year-old Ideye was West Brom record signing when he moved from Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine for about 10 million pounds, but he has struggled to adapt to the pace of the English game and he is now likely to look at other options if he is to revive his career.
“Ideye has some serious interests in France, where he once played for Sochaux,” a top source told AfricanFootball.com
“The only stumbling block against his move is his transfer fee because West Brom want to recoup as much of what they forked out when they signed him last season.”
Ideye’s days at ‘The Baggies’ are numbered after he scored four goals in 24 appearances last season.
He has yet to feature for his club this season and this weekend he was not on the squad who lost 3-2 at home to Manchester City.
